Ammonia (NH₃) is a hydrogen carrier that's easy to transport and store. It contains no carbon, so burning or converting it produces zero CO₂ emissions.
Traditional systems crack ammonia into hydrogen first. DAFC skips this step, converting ammonia directly to electricity — simpler, cheaper, more efficient.
Ammonia has been safely used in industry for over 100 years. India has 1,000+ terminals and established safety standards (PESO, IS-4379).
As renewable energy grows, green ammonia (made with solar/wind) will become the zero-carbon fuel of the future for heavy transport and industry.
